Southgate, KY – On September 19, local leaders and developers celebrated the grand opening of a new apartment complex, Vicinity at Memorial Pointe, located at 3949 Vision Circle in Southgate. This complex stands on the grounds where the Beverly Hills Supper Club once was. The project is a collaboration between Vision Realty Group and North American Properties and features 200 apartments with one or two bedrooms across eight buildings, ranging from three to four stories each. The rent for these units varies between $1,285 and $2,205.
Currently, 75% of the units are leased and inhabited as the complex has been gradually opening up. Jim Hobson, the vice president of development at North American Properties, anticipates that the complex will reach full occupancy, with more than 95% of the units leased, by the year’s end.
Residents can enjoy numerous amenities, including a heated saltwater swimming pool, a sundeck, a lounge area for residents, a coffee bar, and a gazebo equipped with an outdoor kitchen. The complex also offers a 24-hour fitness center, a park for dogs known as a “bark park,” and outdoor fire pits.
“Atop our picturesque hillside, we’re bringing luxury living to new heights,” Vision Realty Group Managing Partner Matt Olliges said in a media release. “Whether you’re making a quick, five-minute trip Downtown or opting to indulge in the full range of our luxury amenities, prepare to have your expectations elevated when moving to Vicinity.”
Vicinity at Memorial Pointe is a significant component of an extensive development worth $65 million, covering 80 acres at the former Beverly Hills Supper Club site. This project is led by Vision Realty Group along with Ashley Builders Group, who is the primary developer of the area.
The partnership between Vision Realty Group and North American Properties focused on developing just the hotel portion of the site. Additionally, Fischer Homes is currently completing a subdivision on the property, which includes 85 lots and is about halfway done. Plans are also underway for a memory care facility with 79 units.
This site is historically significant due to the tragic fire in 1977, which resulted in the deaths of 155 individuals and injuries to over 200 people, including five firefighters.
