The 113th annual Thanksgiving Day Race will be underway in Downtown Cincinnati starting at 9:00 a.m. this morning.If you will be traveling through downtown today or around Northern Kentucky, be aware of the following road closures. The race will begin at Paycor Stadium on Second Street, and runners will travel north on Vine Street. The route turns east onto East Liberty Street and will then turn west onto Reading Road and Central Parkway. Eggleston will be closed from Central Parkway to Pete Rose Way for runners. East Pete Rose Way will also be closed to traffic from Eggleston to the Taylor Southgate Bridge. The Taylor Southgate Bridge will be closed for runners to cross into Newport where they will then turn west onto Third Street and will then run onto Fourth Street in Covington. Runners make a turn north and cross the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge before reaching Second Street and traveling east to the finish line at Paycor Stadium.Stay with WLWT for the latest on traffic closures.
