Cincinnati, Ohio – Earth Day is officially on Monday, but celebrations in the local area begin this Saturday. At the Cincinnati Museum Center, there will be a full day of activities centered on environmental conservation. The Ohio Department of Agriculture and Cincinnati’s Urban Wilderness Program will provide informative displays and materials.
Attendees will have opportunities to learn about combatting invasive species and crafting seed bombs. Additionally, participants can join in on constructing a canoe. Meanwhile, Winton Woods will host further festivities, starting with a lake cleanup at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Following the cleanup, Winton Harbor will be alive with eco-friendly activities. Various organizations will be present to educate on environmental improvement efforts. The event will feature food stalls, games, live music, encounters with animals, and booths selling eco-conscious products.
